Tor Oye had been at a dance at Kommunehuset in Stordalen June 4, 1989. After midnight when the party ended he went together with others to the center of Stordalen. He thereafter supposedly went to the camping area of Stordalen where there were some activities after the party. The last observation of Oye was at ca. 03.30 at night at the Stordalen camping. He was last seen walking between the lake, the camping area and the harbor.
