Circumstances of Disappearance
On the morning of April 13, 1975 Walter Murraro left his residence in Milan, Italy after telling his parents he was going to pay a visit to his grandmother in Vizzolo Predabissi, a village located a few kilometers from Milan.
On the evening, several persons noticed a small fire next to the highway Genova-Savona at the level of kilometer 17.
Later in the night a road patrol saw Muraro's motorcycle, a Suzuki 500, stopped along the road at km 17 before a viaduct entry. The motorcycle was removed the following day and identified as his the following month. Investigator came to the place where the motorcycle was found and located at a small distance in the brush a helmet and partially burnt male clothing that Muraro's parents identified as their son's. No human remains were found. It seemed that it was staged. His parents received several silent calls after his disappearance.
