Circumstances of Disappearance
Sheppard was last seen at the Port Adelaide Railway Station area in South Australia on January 1, 1995.

As far as the Police are aware, these are the movements of Daniel Sheppard on the night that he went missing:

  • 31/12/95 : Caught the 20.21 train to Adelaide and then a tram to Glenelg. Alighted at the Brighton Road stop.
  • Walked to Lennies Tavern on Anzac Highway.
  • 1/1/95 : At 01:30, caught a tram to Adelaide with another male and a female
  • Attended The Rave and the Empire/Liberty nightspots next to Jules Bar in Hindley Street
  • Walked to the Adelaide Railway Station
  • 04:13, on board the train to OuterHarbour. Last seen leaving the train at the Port Adelaide Railway Station ramp at 04:35.
  • Possible sighting on Grand Junction Road, Rosewater at 06:30 - 07:00 on 1/1/95.
    Mr Sheppard was involved with drug use and would smoke cannabis on a daily basis
    Police hold grave fears for him and believe that he may have been murdered.
