Edward was last seen 19 June 1995. He is a truck driver and was travelling to Melbourne from Sydney on an overnight trip. He last contacted his wife from Albury that night.
At about 7.30 am on 19 June, Edward was involved in a minor accident on the Hume Highway near Craigeburn Victoria. The heavy vehicle Edward was driving was found abandoned on the Hume Highway Kalkoola on the outskirts of Melbourne.
Edward was last seen walking off towards some paddocks on the eastern side of the Hume Highway.
Another report was a man fitting his description, wearing shorts and a T-shirt, was seen running into a street leading to Merri Creek.
Police searched the creek for Mr Faulkner and found his clothes.
