Circumstances of Disappearance
Mariangela Corradin disappeared on August 11, 1995 from her residence in the periphery of Turin, Italy. At about 20.00, her son found the door closed from the inside, the iron still turned on and a consumed cigarette in the ashtray. His mother wasn't in the house. Her purse was still there with her papers and money in it. The yard's gate was still closed with a padlock. Her boyfriend and their son, were the last persons to have seen her, in the morning.

At 21.00  they came back home and went out to look for Marieangela Corradin. They reported her missing the following day. The relation between Marieangela and her boyfriend had become very tense in the months preceding her disappearance to the point that she had planned on leaving him to live in her own apartment. The day before her disappearance she had signed a rental contract for an apartment and had let an advance. Foul play is suspected in her disappearance.

Her disappearance may be related to several other disappearances of women in Turin. Among others, the disappearances of Sabina Badami, Erika Pierno, Camilla Bini and Letizia Teglia
