Circumstances of Disappearance
Edoardo had begun working as a laborer in a factory that produced automobile radios and televisions between 1968 and 1970. He then found a job as a waiter at a restaurant in Rome, along the Via Cassia. In 1973, he left his job. His psychological condition deteriorated from day to day, until finally, near the end of 1973, Edoardo was placed in the insane asylum of Santa Maria della Pietà. It was from this hospital that Edoardo disappeared on an unknown date in 1975 or possibly 1976. Towards the end of his stay, his condition would seem to have improved to the point where the doctors occasionally allowed him to go outside the hospital. It was after one of these trips outside that Edoardo failed to return. He has never been seen or heard from again.
