• Distinguishing Characteristics: White female. Red/ginger hair; hazel eyes. Medium build. Fair complexion.

Circumstances of Disappearance
Kay left her home at 18.30 pm on 27 July, 1979. She went to the home of Toni Cavanagh. Both girls left there at 20.30, on the pretext they were due to babysit. Instead, they had intended to go into Wollongong.

The last sighting of Kay and Toni Cavanagh was on July 27, 1979, as they hitchhiked on Shellharbour Road, outside Warilla Grove Shopping Centre. They have not been seen since.

Kay's mother received a couple of handwritten notes from Kay within weeks of her disappearance, saying she was visiting friends in Sydney and would be home at the end of the week.
