Brent Chamberlain wrote a suicide letter, postmarked 2-28-2019 in Florence, Italy. The letter read "It seems appropriate to go out like this-it was a good run while it lasted but I can't do it anymore. I'm going for a final walk that I won't come back from, and I'm sorry to leave you with the mess that was my life. I hope the government will release a death certificate quickly so you can move on. They say it will be painless. I'm not sure what else to say. It's not your fault- I don't want you thinking that. -
Brent also Wrote a draft email that was not sent. Email was written on read "I think you can handle this-and the life we built together-let the Lopez's let you into the apartment and sell everything. I've bought a load of sleeping pills. It was a good run while it lasted. I'm going for a hike and I won't be coming back. Sorry if it inconveniences your control of everything, but sometimes you can't be totally comfortable and in control."
