Circumstances of Disappearance
Reverend Michael Aikman was last seen at his home in Kent, England, around 11:30 the night of June 28, 1999.
Since he disappeared from his home in Whitstable, Kent, leaving behind his wife and two young sons, there have been no confirmed sightings of him, although his blue Ford Sierra was found abandoned a couple of days after he vanished on a clifftop at St Margaret's Bay, near Dover. He left behind a brief note in which he explained that having 'almost double-booked' two weddings, he was finding his job 'stressful' and was 'going away'.
Aikman has family connections in Scotland.
