Circumstances of Disappearance
Dieter Seifert,a building technician, is missing since May 1998. He disappeared shortly after returning from a diving holiday on the island of Cuba.
He first came back regularly to his workplace, but a few days later, without explanation, he did no longer show up and was never seen again.
He left his flat on Marlenestrasse in Berlin-Konradshöhe in May 1998 without handing in a notice or letting anyone know where he intended to go. The last sign of Mr Seifert is a letter he wrote to his employer on 18 May 1998.
