Circumstances of Disappearance
Peter was last seen about 8:00pm on 16 July 1994. His dinghy was hit by a large wave causing capsize, throwing him into the waters near Botany, off Bay Heads Cape Banks, La Perouse. Peter's friend held onto the upturned hull, Peter attempted to swim to shore to raise the alarm, however it appears he never reached shore and is still missing. Grave fears are held for Peter's safety.
