Rémy Salazard
Missing since August 8, 1989 from Toulouse, France
Classification: Endangered Missing
Vital Statistics
Circumstances of Disappearance
Salazard was last seen on August 8, 1989. On
that day, his mother dropped him at the Matabiau railway station in
Toulouse, France, where he was to take a train with an acquaintance to
Anglet, Basque coast, to go camping. She never heard from him again.
After
several fruitless attempts, the gendarmerie refusing to take a missing
person report, she managed to report him missing in November. However, the
Procureur de la République decided to close the case 18 months later ruling
the disappearance voluntary. His mother decided to start her own search who
led her to the masculine sex trade up to Spain. Salazard worked in a door to
door society located in a sex trade area at the time of his disappearance.
