Circumstances of Disappearance
Van Grinsven was last seen at the Schiphol Airport in Amersfoort, Netherlands on January 8, 1988, as she left for Spain.

On 25 January 1988, was the last telephone contact with Rina in Madrid and she said that she would come home to Netherlands soon.

At the time of disappearance she was married to a Spanish man who was detained for robbery murder.
