Circumstances of Disappearance
Duncan disappeared from the Portman Road area of Ipswich on the night of Friday, July 2. It is believed that the single mum, from Ballliol Close, Woodbridge, had been working as a prostitute. She left two sons at the time of the disappearance. No-one has heard from Amanda since she went missing, despite intensive local and national publicity. Police are concerned that Amanda may have come to harm; however, no evidence has ever been uncovered to show that she was the victim of an abduction or attack.
