Vital Statistics
Case History
The victim was found floating at Marker 11, in the Intercoastal Waterway, off Flagler Beach, FL on September 10, 1997, he was bound and had a bullet hole in his head.
Two employees of Sea Ray Boats who were on their way to the boat factory found him some 60 feet off an undeveloped shoreline.
Investigators believe his body floated to the surface after an alligator loosened the ropes that bound him while tearing off his left arm. They also believe he was found where he was dumped in the water after being brought by boat to the location.
Best leads suggested John Doe was a local man but no one saw anything.
