Case History
The victim's body was found in Woody Creek off of Lenado Road by a couple hunting mushrooms. The victim was
partially hidden by fallen trees and had been shot twice in the head.

Investigators concluded that he had been shot with two different guns and may have been blindfolded. They
traced a comforter found with the body to a Comfort Inn in St. George, Utah.

A sculpture was done depicting what the man might have looked like with a pipe and glasses. In 1993, a
drawing portrayed an average-looking man with a square jaw.

The victim, known as "Lenado Man" is buried in an unmarked grave in Glenwood Springs.
