Circumstances of Disappearance
Irene MacDonald was last seen in September 1978.

She was reported missing by family five months later and has never been found.

Her common-law husband, Donald Spindler is convicted of second-degree murder. His former wife, Katherine McCoy is charged with obstructing justice.
A witness said Spindler confessed to the crime during a fishing trip, saying MacDonald was choked, her body thrown into a well and acid thrown on top of her body.
