  • Estimated age: 35-55 years old
  • Approximate Height and Weight: 5'3"-5'5"; 115-130 lbs.
  • Distinguishing Characteristics: Dark brown, medium length hair, recently permed.
  • Marks, Scars: Possible McBurney type appendectomy scar, possible Pfannenstiel type pelvic scar.
  • Clothing: The victim was wearing a dark green, one-piece Jantzen bathing suit, size 36. Shoe size was 4 1/2. A chain bracelet on each wrist, and a sterling silver ring, with a rose pattern. The ring originally had 25 small white stones, eight of which were missing.
  • Fingerprints: Available
  • Dentals: Available. Upper dentures; partial lower plate. (She had only seven lower teeth)
  • DNA: Not available

Case History
The victim was located in Old Tampa Bay, north of Courtney Campbell Causeway in Safety Harbor, Florida on March 4, 1961.
Her body was floating in the bay, and she was weighted down with a 15 pound cinder block tied to her feet.
She was buried at a Clearwater cemetery as Jane Doe.
