Circumstances of Disappearance

On December 10, 1982, William Clifton received a phone call then quickly left home. William's wife was under the impression he went to pick up some Christmas gifts for their two daughters.

Later that evening, William, Michael Norman, and David McMicken signed in together at The VIP Club. The trio left the club before last call and have not been seen since.

William's 1975 black over white Chevy Camero with NC plate DLS42 was found two months later in New York.

A few weeks prior to their disappearance, William and David, who worked together, were laid off from Texas Gulf.
