Circumstances of Disappearance
Neill was last seen on February 1, 1985. He apparently fell from his skiff. Coast Guard helicopters searched a 215-square-mile area west of Dana Point but failed to find any trace of Frank Neill.
Neill's 14-foot boat was found circling with its engine running about 10 miles west-southwest of Dana Point.
He has been declared presumed dead but his body has not been recovered.
