Circumstances of Disappearance
O' Reilly arrived in Darwin, NT on February 6, 1988 after a vacation in Indonesia. He called his parents and informed them that he planned to seek employment in Darwin. O' Reilly wanted to save money to return to his family's home in Western Australia. He was never seen or heard from again. He worked as an industrial chemist.
