Circumstances of Disappearance
Godfrey's disappearance has been linked to suspected serial killer John Edward Robinson Sr. Robinson picked up Paula Godfrey at her parents' Overland Park home and said he would drive her to the airport, her father said. He hasn't seen his daughter since.
In the year after graduating, Godfrey may have worked at Equi-II, a management consulting company run by Robinson. She was one of three women who disappeared during the 1980s who authorities think was linked to Robinson.
The other missing persons are; Lisa Stasi
and Katherine Clampitt. Robinson had allegedly hired Godfrey to be a sales representative.
Robinson is charged with killing five women.
