Circumstances of Disappearance

Adam Brundage was last seen leaving his job on Friday, October 1, 2004. He was reported missing when family members had not heard from him.

Adam's roommate at the time, Daman Andrew Smoot, told police several different stories about Adam's whereabouts. Daman was still living in Adam's house and driving Adam's car. Adam's grandmother said that Adam had complained about his roommate shortly before he disappeared.

Daman Smoot was later arrested after pleading guilty to the 2004 indecent assault of a 14-year-old girl in Bucks County. Smoot went back to state prison in 2012 after admitting to charges that he kidnapped, beat, and threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend. He is currently incarcerated in the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections.

Police don't believe Adam left on his own because his bank accounts and Social Security number have not been used.
