James T. Boozer, Sr., also known as Jim, Jimmy, or J., was last seen at approximately 8:00 a.m., leaving his residence on foot in the 5800 block of Montrose to go to an appointment at Willis Eye Hospital via the train. James arrived at his appointment and left the eye hospital at 11:30 a.m. in the vicinity of 8th Street and Walnut in Philadelphia.
According to his wife, James had no more than $5 on his person, but he carried a lot of identification including his driver's license, Blue Cross card, and SEPTA pass. She suspects that he may have fallen asleep on the train and missed his stop at 30th Street Station and ended up at the 69th Street stop. From there, he might've taken the wrong trolley.
James worked for 40 years at Campbell Soup in Camden, retiring in 1998.
