Suzy Lamplugh
Missing since July 28, 1986 from London, England, United Kingdom
Classification: Involuntary
Vital Statistics
Circumstances of Disappearance
Lamplugh, an Estate agent, was last seen in London, England on July 28, 1986 after going to show a house in south west London to a client calling himself Mr Kipper.
Witnesses claim Suzy was seen talking to a man outside 37 Shorrolds Road, the house she was going to show. She was seen arguing and was then apparently bundled into a car.
That night, her car was found abandoned on Stevenage Road near Fulham football ground and running parallel to the Thames. The spot was about a mile from Shorrolds Road and there was every indication that the vehicle had been left in great haste. It was badly parked, the handbrake was off and the driver's door was unlocked; the missing girl's straw hat was on the parcel shelf behind the rear seats and her purse nestled in the driver's door pocket.
Police have always assumed she was murdered, but no evidence of the killing was found and her body has never been recovered.
Suzy Lamplugh was officially declared dead in 1994
