Vital Statistics

  • Estimated age: 35 - 40 years old
  • Approximate Height and Weight: 5'8"; 161 lbs.
  • Distinguishing Characteristics: Long brown hair; brown eyes. He suffered from chronic alcoholism.
  • Clothing: White converse tennis shoe; blue swimming trunks; light brown Levi-type trousers with a blue webbed belt; white athletic sock with blue stripes.
  • Tattoos: Right upper arm "Fredy"; below is a cross. Left upper arm "Anna" with a bearded man's face.


Case History
The victim, a transient male, was located under a bush, outside "Welcome Grove Motel" at 600 West Capitol Avenue, West Sacramento. He was identified by other transients as Dennis McCullum, but no positive identification could be made.
He died of liver failure and with a blood-alcohol content of .80.
Although coroners were able to lift an unusually clear set of prints from the victim's hands, and despite the fact he was recognized by many people, his identity remains elusive.
