At the time of her disappearance, Kase lived in the area of South 208th Street and 30th Avenue South, between Kent and the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. She was last seen near the airport at approximately 11:30 p.m. She worked for Photomat at the time of her disappearance.
Kase's husband of four months, Anthony "Pretty Tony" Lee, who was also her pimp, called her mother in Spokane, Washington on August 30 and said she had gone to the Mark and Pack store to buy some hamburger and never came back. Kase had known some women who were victims of Gary Ridgway, the Green River Killer, and she may have been a victim of his.
