Circumstances of Disappearance
Frank Nash was last seen by his father, at home on May 20, 1999. On May 21, 1999 Nash called his father from the Danbury, CT., Department of Motor Vehicles with questions regarding his vehicle registration. Frank lived with his parents on Newfane Road. The family had lived in New Fairfield for about five years. Nash told his father in that phone conversation that "he had to meet somebody and would be home the next day."
On June 3, 1999, Nash's 1994 Dodge Ram Van CT Reg.: 770 CWV, was recovered and towed by Salt Lake City Utah Sheriffs Department as an abandoned motor vehicle. The vehicle was impounded. Nash's van was locked when Salt Lake City police found it and his clothes were in it.
Nash's parents received notification of the vans recovery on June 6, 1999 at which time a missing person report was filed.
He has no known friends or relatives on the west coast.
Nash did not drink, neither was he into drugs or in trouble with the law.
Frank changed his last name to Nash when he was 18 for business purposes. Nash was a quiet person but not a recluse. He worked off and on in construction and never married.
