She was last seen on April 22, 2005, driving away from the Home Depot on Green Acres Road in Eugene, Oregon at about 7:00 a.m. after dropping her husband off at work. She was en route to work at the Georgia-Pacific mill in Halsey, but never arrived. She was reported missing by her employeer and one of her friends.
About a week later, a man located her purse while walking his dog and turned it in to the Eugene Bi-Mart store. While searching the area, investigators recovered her vehicle located on May 2, 2005 parked on the Lorane Highway near Fillmore Street in southern Eugene, Oregon and impounded.
