Circumstances of Disappearance
Banitskas was last seen on a bus on her way to work in Thomastown, Victoria on August 27, 1974.
On the morning of 27 August Anna gathered all the photos of herself from the family home in Lalor before boarding a bus to the Thomastown factory where she worked. On her way to work, she got off the bus a couple stops earlier than usual. Family members believe she may have gone off with a boyfriend.
