Circumstances of Disappearance
Ella Williams was last seen in Gainesville on March 25, 1990.
She had been known to walk around the northeast Gainesville neighborhood where she lived for many years and the southeast Gainesville area where she had been staying with relatives.

She had been staying with relatives because Alzheimer's disease had left her unable to live on her own. She returned to her old apartment, in another neighborhood almost daily. She often got confused, but usually found her way back home within a few hours, even when she became lost, by asking for directions.
