Case File 2265DFMI

Christina Levonne Schutz
Missing since November 2, 1998 from Flint, Genesee County, Michigan
Classification: Endangered Missing

Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Disappearance
Christina was last seen in the vicinity of the 2000 block of N. Vernon in Flint, MI. She said goodbye to her grandmother and never returned. She did not say where she was going.

Sixteen days after she left, her mother reported Schutz's disappearance to police, but no one knew where she was headed. Police had arrested Schutz for blocking traffic a few months before she was reported missing, and she had other brushes with the law as she fell deeper into drug addiction.

She is described as a smart but troubled girl who started skipping classes while at Whittier Middle School but who achieved her high school diploma despite dropping out of Flint Central High School. At times, she talked about moving from away from Flint and starting her life over. She left behind a three-year-old son and infant daughter.

She didn't take anything with her. She just left with the clothes on her back. There has been no clues of foul play, but her family thinks she would not go for so long without contacting them.
