Circumstances of Disappearance
George was last seen in Sydney in December of 1970. At the time he intended to travel to the North Coast area however he has not been seen since. Before his disappearance George was employed as a spray painter who had recently finished his apprenticeship, George told his family he was going to the Central Coast to put a $60 deposit on a painter's air compressor.
George's blue 50cc motorcycle was found a day later broken down by the side of the road on the Pacific Highway, 100m from Brooklyn Bridge.
He lived a quiet life and was not involved with drugs, violence or criminal activity.
