• Clothing: A yellow T-shirt, trousers over his brown swimming shorts, and was barefoot.

Circumstances of Disappearance
Dyke was last seen at Edithvale beach, 30km south of Melbourne, in January 1976.
He had taken his son and niece to the beach and police believe his niece, who was eight years old at the time, was the last person to see him, having watched him go into the water. Both his son and niece were brought home by police after they were found alone on the beach.
He has not accessed his bank account since he was last seen.
