Unidentified White Male

Located on March 3, 1994 in Idar-Oberstein, Germany.

Cause of death was homicide.

The victim´s estimated time of death is between early September 1993 and late January 1994

Vital Statistics

Estimated age: 36 - 45 years old

Approximate Height and Weight: 5'6" (168 cm); 110-120 lbs (50-55 kg.)

Distinguishing Characteristics: Brown hair.

Clothing: He was wearing a lined jacket, a green jacket, a light-coloured shirt with long sleeves, an undershirt, dark corduroy trousers with a belt, light-coloured socks and black flat shoes with zippers.

Dentals: He had a upper jaw bone prosthesis, which was either made somewhere in Eastern Europe or in the former GDR.

Tattoos: He had 3 tattoos;
A cross sourrounded by sunbeams on his chest.
A face of a devil on the outer side of the left forearm.
A snake winding itself around a sword, and the word Love.

Case History
In the early morning hours of March 3, 1994 forest workers discovered this victim's body buried.
He was located in the woods near the city of Idar-Oberstein and approximately 2 kilometres away from Georg-Weierbach (one of the city´s smaller districts).
The man was found lying in a sleeping-bag from the German Federal Armed Forces and additionally wrapped into large blue rubbish bags.
The post-mortem examination revealed that the man was killed by massive use of force.
Further police investigation revealed that the man appeared to have lived among the homeless.
He is thought to have lived in the region of Idar-Oberstein for some time because the shoes and a jacket found at the location of the body were bought in the city.
The results of the reconstruction have led the investigators to think that the man originally came from the Balcans or South-East Europe.
