Toni Ann Bachman
Missing since April 25, 1997 from White Bear Township, Ramsey County, Minnesota
Classification: Endangered Missing

Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Disappearance
Toni Ann Bachman was last seen at her home in White Bear Township, Minnesota on April 25, 1997.
Her husband told sheriff's investigators she was gone from their home at Stillwater Street when he returned from a shopping trip. Her purse and some of her clothes were gone, but not the family vehicles.
The next week, Bachman's co-workers at Hamline University called the sheriff's department to report she hadn't been to work. Bachman had worked at Hamline for about 10 years, most recently in the human resources department.
The Bachmans' residence was searched by authorities in May 1997, shortly after Toni vanished. Blood stains were discovered inside their freezer and in their garage. DNA analysis proved that the blood was Toni's in September 1997.
Toni Bachman's husband allegedly gave vague and inconsistent accounts about her whereabouts around the time of her disappearance. Toni Bachman told her mother in an April 20 phone conversation that she planned to leave her husband around May 1. Foul play is strongly suspected in Toni's disappearance.
