    • Circumstances of Disappearance
    An unidentified person broke into the Handa family's Fairfield, California home on August 23, 1984. The intruder then abducted Handa from his bedroom as he was sleeping and left a ransom note. The kidnapper never followed up to collect the money. The suspect remains unidentified; Handa has never been seen again.
