Sandra Mary Jacobson
Missing since November 16, 1996 from Bismarck, Burleigh County, North Dakota
Classification: Endangered Missing

Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Disappearance
Sandra Jacobson was last seen with her son John at 20.00, leaving a family member's residence in the 1100 block of University Drive in Bismarck, ND. Sandra was supposed to go get gas and return to her relatives home. Bismarck Police have confirmed she did stop for gas at a local convenience store.

Earlier that night on the way to her relative’s home, Sandra had called Bismarck police to report satanic ritual abuse she believed was taking place on a farm near Center. She called Bismarck police stating she did not trust Center or Oliver county law enforcement officials. When she arrived at her relative’s home her mother felt she was displaying signs of mental illness and Sandra agreed to be taken to a hospital, after going to get gas.

The following day, her gray 1990 Honda Civic was located abandoned in Bismarck at the Centennial Beach parking lot, adjacent to the Missouri River. The driver’s door was open, the keys were in the ignition, and her purse was on the seat with only her driver‘s license missing. The Burleigh County Sheriff's Department's dive rescue and recovery team tried to search the river, but searching was difficult due to ice and a strong current. They searched between Centennial Beach and the railroad bridge.
