Circumstances of Disappearance

Abeyta was taken from his parents' bedroom between 12:30 and 2:30 a.m on July 15, 1986 at his home located on Ashwood Circle in southwestern Colorado Springs. Upon investigation of the property, officers found that the basement window was open and the garage door opener was missing. Foul play is suspected.
