Circumstances of Disappearance
Powe was last seen at his residence in Mobile, Alabama on April 4, 1996.
He departed his residence walking and did not have any identification in his possession.

Reports were given that Powe was last seen in the Maysville area.
Powe's family was told about a a young man, who said that he had killed Powe and thrown him in the Mobile Bay.
No body has been discovered.
