Circumstances of Disappearance
Imelda Keenan was last seen on the 3 January 1994 at her residence in William Street, Waterford.
Originally from Mountmellick, she moved to Waterford, where two of her brothers lived and where one still resides, when she was 15. Having stayed with her family for a time, she moved into a flat on William Street where she was still living when she disappeared.
The last reported sighting of Imelda Keenan, who was undertaking a course at the CTI, Parnell Street, was at Lombard St. at 13.30 that day. She had nothing with her, no change of clothes, very little money and to this day, her credit union account remains untouched.
Her disappearance may be related to the disappearances of Annie McCarrick and Eva Brennan.
