Circumstances of Disappearance
Dupel was last seen in Munina, Poland on June 22, 1991. She left her four children behind to be raised by their grandmother.
In 2001, the family received a letter from a lawyer requesting Wanda to pay a fine for riding the city bus in Czestchowa without a valid ticket. The following year, the family heard that Wanda was treated for burns on her arm at the local Emergency Unit in Czestochowa. There has been no further contact between Wanda and her family.
