Crystal Johnson and her sister Lindsey were abducted by their non-custodial mother, Madelaine Thomas, from Virginia on February 5, 1994.

A felony warrant for Kidnapping was issued for the abductor on 1/10/96. The abductor may be using the alias Madelaine Johnson or Madelaine Markon. Her date of birth is January 4, 1962 and she is described as being 5'5" (165 cm.) tall and weighing 105 lbs. (48 kg.) at the time of the abduction. She has blonde hair and blue eyes.
