Jewelry: Two gold rings with crosses, a third ring bearing the numbers 78, and a silver chain with a large silver cross approximately 2 inches in length.

Circumstances of Discovery

A landowner discovered the victim's remains in a small stream in a wooded area 180 feet from 1550 Road, three miles southeast of Garnett in rural Anderson County.

Authorities believe the victim may have been a hitchhiker.
