• Marks, Scars: Tan birthmark on side of calf on one leg. Old scar on one leg. Earlier ear piercings, but did not usually wear earring. Spina bifida occulta & lumbar spondylolisthesis. Left knee dislocated x 3. Previous shoulder dislocation and previous right ankle fracture.
• Clothing: Blue V-neck pullover sweater, gray corduroy pants. Tan shoes, probably size 13. Black Casio watch.
• Dentals: Available.
• AKA: Dave
• Vehicle: 1976 Century Buick Coupe; yellow with white top. Car had CB antenna. Military Base sticker on left front bumper.

Circumstances of Disappearance
In 1984 Cunningham had been living in Boulder, Colorado. At time of disappearance he was in Georgia. On August 4, 1984 at 21.00 he drove to nearby Atlanta, stating he was driving to Ritz-Carlton Hotel and would return that night, but did not return.
At 03.00 August 5, 1984, his vehicle was parked on I-59 southbound interstate outside Birmingham, Alabama in Jefferson County. The individual driving the vehicle was ticketed, with the ticket written to David Cunningham. However when the officer was contacted 2 weeks later, he could not remember or confirm if the driver was David. Neither Cunningham nor the car has been seen since.
