Case History
The victim was located on November 16, 2005, floating in the Sampit river in Georgetown, SC.
There was no trauma or injury discovered and no apparent cause of death. Drowning being the only possibility at this time.
Partial prints were gathered from the body, but the condition of the body made this difficult. These were ran through the S.C AFIS with no matches. The hands were taken to SLED for further attempts to identify the victim. To date this efforts have yielded no clues.
Attempts to gather a DNA profile have been unsuccessful. Further tissue will be analyzed to attempt to locate DNA.
